The most popular Batman movie ever was 2008’s The Dark Knight. It smashed many box-office records and it was the first superhero movie to make over $1 billion in global box office sales. 4. Iron Man and War Machine (aka Iron Patriot)
Iron Man is a really popular movie franchise. Robert Downey Jr. made the Tony Stark character really likable and charismatic. His suit of armor allows him to fly and display superhuman strength. It also comes with an array of weapons such as the repulsor rays in his palms, beam projection gun in his chest plate and shoulder-mounted rocket launchers. This character is really popular with both boys and girls.
We did not get to see War Machine until Iron Man 2 but it was worth the wait. This suit of armor was metallic-colored so it did not have the beautiful red and gold colors of Tony Stark’s suit but it allowed its wearer to do the same type of things and contained the same type of weaponry.
War Machine was renamed Iron Patriot for Iron Man 3. The only major difference was the red, white and blue colors it was covered in.
5. Captain America and Bucky
Bucky and Steve Rogers were best friends during their childhood. Then during World War II while they were both in the Army, Steve Rogers takes a super-soldier serum that transforms him into Captain America. While they were both on a mission, Bucky gets thrown from a plane and is thought dead. However, he is rescued by Hydra where is experimented upon and is given some of the same powers that Captain America has. His left arm is also replaced with a bionic arm and he chooses to wear an all-black jumpsuit, tactical googles and a mask that covers the bottom half of his face to hide his true identity. From then on, he is known as the Winter Soldier.
6. Captain America and Falcon
Captain America made his first appearance on the silver screen in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. He wears a red, white and blue jumpsuit and carries a similarly-colored shield. He does not have the fancy weapons of a Batman or Iron Man nor the ability to fly like Iron Man and Superman either. However, he does have a keen mind and superhuman strength and agility. His loyalty to the United States of America is beyond reproach.
